Skyfall: A Bond Movie For The Times

There is a touch of Bourne to it. One of their own comes to make damage. You train a spy and he turns on you. Only Bourne is a good guy, here the designation is to the bad guy. But then that is why you put James in the movie. James, James Bond.

And modern warfare is cyber. Skyfall has a ton of that. Bond has to travel back in time.

Cyber Pearl Harbor Will Be From Stateless Entity Like Al Qaeda

"Do you feel safe?" I thought that was a powerful line.

Skyfall has the usual dose of Bond action. And the scary guy from No Country For Old Men is the bad guy here.

Call It

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Bond does not cease to surprise. The final part in Scotland is really something.

The Quartermaster scene is really something. Welcome to the new world.

This is another movie I am looking forward to. Zero Dark Thirty. Music makes for much of the action.

Plotting To Go To Many Events

I might be waking a little late to summer, but I think now I am getting in a mood to go to many, many events in the city. The primary focus is going to be on free music events. And I think I intend to go also to as many tech events as possible. If I can grab some consulting gigs at some of those events I might say, like James Bond said when asked, business or pleasure.

"Hopefully both."

What is the best way to locate the music events in town?

A trip or two to Coney Island is also due. I am city.

Digg Button, Twitter Button For Your Blog Posts

Add digg button to each of your blog posts | Bloganol.com
Cranial Soup: Add a TwitThis Button to your Blogger posts

Add This

I just added these buttons to my blog. I figured they will help spread the word out a little. Although my blog has best served me for small group communication purposes. This is no mass traffic blog. It is a communication tool. Helps me get my point across. And also speaks to my blogging hobby. It is both business and pleasure, like James Bond says in a movie: "Hopefully both!"

You do want a larger audience. You do want to build a community around your blog. Post it and they will come does not cut it. You have to go where people are already assembled.

You add the buttons and it is one step easier for visitors to help you spread the word if the spirit might move them.

One glitch for me now is the two buttons work for individual posts only. Otherwise your general blog URL is what gets tweeted. Still, no complaints. So if you want to tweet/digg a particular blog post, get on the web address with that particular blog post, then press the button.
